I am going to try and move a subject out of General Discussion into Religion. It may prove to be a poor attempt but I should try. The subject: The Bible has never been proven wrong...

The last post FoleyDemocrat ask: doesn't the Bible say an angel told Joseph to name his child Emaneul. Why wouldn't Joseph do what an angel told him to do. Why would a middle eastern
Jew give his child a latin name. (That may not be every word)

Matt 1:22 "Now all this was done, that it migh be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,"
Matt 1:23 "Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son and they shall call His name Emanuel, which being interpreted is God with us."

And you are right when an angel tells you what to name your child, you will probably do it. He was call Emanuel by the people. They are the "they" is verse 23.

The Bible can not be proven wrong. Interpetations can be proven wrong, but the Bible can not. Lots of folk say "Prove the Bible is true, but you can not use the Bible to prove it". LOL!!! That is like saying "Prove the Grand Canyon is real without using anything in the state of Arizona to prove it". LOL!!! The events of 9-11 alone prove the Bible is real. 9-11 is in the Bible at least 2 times. Patriotism and delusion just won't allow most people to see it. Totally amazing to me. But hey, I am just visiting this planet. Jesus wasn't of this world and neither am I.

I am not sure I understood your comment. Are you saying GOD is a male or not? Cause GOD is MALE. Or are you saying GOD made female first? Cause GOD made MAN first. Maybe you aren't saying either. I have no idea what you meant so... Anyway, just because the Bible doesn't say what you want doesn't mean the Bible isn't true.

Well, I am totally amazed at how people use the Bible and I don't want to use it for the elections but if people want to talk Bible, that I will be happy to do. I am always ready to learn.

The Bible proves itself over and over again, not that God needs to prove anything to us when we trust Him. Just people don't want to see the evidence. The news I have heard in a long time came a month or so ago on I think the History Channel or A&E;. Anyway, they had one of their "Bible" specials and said many in the science community were starting to see the Bible as Historically Accurate. I thought how great that is. If they accept it that way, than, God Willing, soon they will accept the Spiritual part of the Bible. Its a start.

I am always amazed with these History Channel or Discovery Channel that say they have found such and such place that prove the Bible is right. I'm like, do people really have to have it Proved to them to believe.. Do they not just believe because God said it is so. I go on faith, not science.

GetReal had to pull a double yesterday and today at work. He is a little ticked about it. LOL!!! He said he has tomorrow off so I guess he will be in tomorrow sometime. I know he isn't sure to write it or not cause he says people are going to be really mad. I told him so what...people get mad at me all the time in here. LOL!!! Just a part of life.
